Background screening, motor vehicle record review, and required training completed before a driver is assigned to trips.
Vehicle standards
Routine inspection and maintenance records maintained for each vehicle in service, including securement equipment.
Network participation
Active approved provider with trip authorization, verification, and documentation handled through established network workflows.
Trip documentation
Pickup and drop-off times, signatures, and trip status recorded for every completed run.
Insurance coverage
General liability and commercial auto coverage in place. Certificates of insurance are available on request for contracting and credentialing files.
Payer participation
SafeSmart participates with Medicaid and Medicare, and accepts private pay, supporting broad patient access across coverage types.
Performance standards
Operations are managed against on-time reliability and a low no-show rate, reviewed on an ongoing basis with dispatch.
Service area: primary coverage in St. Louis County, with North County coverage expanding. Capacity outside primary coverage is confirmed case by case.
